At JAX, we’re dedicated to making transportation accessible to everyone, which is why we offer paratransit services for all our eligible travelers. 

This service is specifically designed for individuals with disabilities who are unable to use our regular fixed-route services. Our paratransit service provides door-to-door transportation with specially equipped vehicles and trained JAX professionals to ensure a safe and comfortable ride. 

Whether you need transportation to medical appointments, shopping, or social events, we’re here to help you get where you need to go. Scheduling a ride is easy—just call our customer service team or use our online booking system.

The ADA paratransit service at JAX assists individuals with disabilities who are unable to use our regular fixed-route services. The ADA paratransit service area mirrors the JAX fixed route service area.

ADA Reasonable Modification Request

We designed our paratransit service to accommodate most mobility needs and conditions, but if you require special assistance, we can still help. To better serve our community, we offer the opportunity to request reasonable modifications to our ADA paratransit services. 

If you need adjustments to our standard procedures to accommodate your disability—whether it’s a specific pick-up location, additional assistance boarding, or other necessary changes—we encourage you to submit a Reasonable Modification Request. Our team is committed to evaluating each request with care and understanding, ensuring that your travel experience is as comfortable and convenient as possible. 

To submit a request, simply fill out the form on our website or contact our customer service team. We’re here to help make your journey seamless and stress-free.  

Although we will try our best to make every accommodation, we cannot accommodate requests which fundamentally alter the nature of the service, program, or activity; create a direct threat to the health or safety of others; result in an undue financial and administrative burden; or if you would still be able to fully use the services provided without the modification.

Through personalized instruction, you’ll learn how to plan your trips, read schedules, navigate routes, and utilize accessibility features. Our job is to ensure you feel comfortable and independent while traveling.
